Change the world

George Campus

13/03/2014

Arrangements for the NMMU George Campus Principal’s Grand Ball, which signals the start of a bursary fund for the university’s brightest prospects at the George Campus, are in full swing.

With only four weeks to go to 5 April when guests take to the dance-floor for what promises to be an enchanting evening of fine dining, entertainment and dance, corporates and individuals are invited to make use of the opportunity to contribute to this worthwhile cause.

A number of musicians from the talented Garden Route Musique, an exquisite band – the Byron Carr String Quartet - and two masters of ceremonies, both of whom have strong ties with NMMU, have been sourced to add to the ambiance of the evening which will be hosted at the Ballroom in the magnificent setting of the Hyatt Regency, Oubaai.  The George municipality, some local businesses and the region’s media, including community radio station, Eden FM, and Group Editors Media have already pledged their support towards this uplifting cause.

Tickets for the ball sell at R2 250.00 per person or R22 500 for a corporate table which seats ten guests. Contact NMMU George Campus (Ms Mandy Pretorius, 44 801 5180; mandy.pretorius@nmmu.ac.za) for more details or to reserve your place at this sparkling occasion.  Pledges towards the Bursary Fund are also welcome, and are tax deductible, too.

“Dare to make a difference! Contact the NMMU George Campus today if you would like to become involved in this initiative to help unleash the true splendour of our Madibaz diamonds”.
