George Campus

06/07/2018

Staff members of the Mandela University, George Campus, recently took leave of former Campus Principal, Prof Quinton Johnson, whose term of office recently came to an end.  Dr Johnson, who had commenced his tenure at the university in April 2013, as well as management and staff reflected fondly on the many exciting highlights our young university, including the growing George Campus in particular, has experienced over the past few years.

Acting Campus Principal, Mr David Alexander, thanked Dr Johnson for his leadership and wished him and Dr Bridget Johnson and their family the very best for the future, while staff members from all departments, including the more recently insourced staff complement, also fondly reflected on their engagement with the Campus Principal over the years.

The outgoing Campus Principal also took the opportunity to thank all staff for their collective contribution to the accomplishments of the campus over the years.  It is my wish that the “Nelson Mandela University would be as value-centred as it is dynamic, as young as it is old, as bold as it is thoughtful and as good as it is great”, he concluded.
