George Campus

19/08/2013

The talented Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University’s George Campus Choir has joined forces with a number of outstanding choirs from our region to present a spring Choir Concert in the George Civic Centre on 7 September.

Members of the public and scholars are invited to support this initiative, which is hosted by the NMMU George Campus Choir with the full support of their patron, the Campus Principal Prof Quinton Johnson. Prof Johnson, who hails from a family endowed with musical talent, has committed to fast-track the development of the choir, to strengthen cultural activity as one of the key focus areas of the university, in addition to promoting academic excellence and sport across the board.

The admission fee for the concert is R30 per adult and R15 per scholar, and the event has been scheduled between 17:30 and 20:30 on Saturday, 7 September 2013 at the Civic Centre (Town Hall) in York Street.
