George Campus

04/02/2013

Venues at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University’s George Campus were filled to capacity recently by first year students, parents and staff who had gathered at Saasveld to listen to the Vice Chancellor’s official welcome message to new entrants to the university.    Prof Swartz’s message was video streamed live from Port Elizabeth to all six of NMMU’s campuses, including the one in George, which was attended by about 650 guests. This was followed by meet and greet sessions where parents and students had an opportunity to meet with the academic staff of the various faculties, including the three faculties represented in George – Science; Business and Economic Sciences; and Education.
