Change the world

08/07/2015

The much anticipated Forestry Indaba, which the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) will be hosting with the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (George Campus) from 13 to 15 July, will bring together a range of stakeholders from the forestry and related industries.

The three-day event, which forms part of the run-up to the World Forestry Congress (WFC) scheduled for September this year, will feature the same theme and subthemes as the WFC. The event will be held under the theme “Forests and People: Investing in a Sustainable Future”.

It will also include exhibitions by industry and related stakeholders, as well as a special focus on the youth, aimed at capturing the inputs and contributions from senior students and young academics through a dynamic interactive process – a youth cafĂ©/dialogue on the second day of the Indaba.

Join in the engagement on Twitter #ForestryIndaba2015 for the Forestry Indaba and #Forests2015 for the WFC.
