Senior NMMU George Campus Forestry students are among the delegates at the exciting XIV World Forestry Congress which is currently taking place in Durban.

Several NMMU academics from the NMMU School of Natural Resource Management (Science Faculty) are also attending this high profile international event which commenced at the International Convention Centre in Durban at the weekend and which is set to continue to 11 September.   The university, along with other stakeholders, also has a presence at the expo which accompanies the Congress.   

NMMU, together with DAFF had earlier (during July) hosted the Forestry INDABA at the George Campus, as a precursor to the XIV World Forestry Congress presented under the theme - Forests and People: Investing in a Sustainable Future.
