Members of the public and scholars are invited to support this initiative, which is hosted by the NMMU George Campus Choir with the full support of their patron, the Campus Principal Prof Quinton Johnson. Prof Johnson, who hails from a family endowed with musical talent, has committed to fast-track the development of the choir, to strengthen cultural activity as one of the key focus areas of the university, in addition to promoting academic excellence and sport across the board.
The admission fee for the concert is R30 per adult and R15 per scholar, and the event has been scheduled between 17:30 and 20:30 on Saturday, 7 September 2013 at the Civic Centre (Town Hall) in York Street.

The NMMU George Campus Choir has enchanted guests at several events recently, including the monthly George Business Chamber network evening hosted at the NMMU George Campus recently. Some of the Choir members are featured here with George Business Chamber president, Dr Willie Cilliers (centre), accompanied by Prof Quinton Johnson, the Campus Principal.
