A winter school for Grade 12 learners will therefore be presented at NMMU George Campus from Monday, 13- to Friday, 17 July.
This will be the second year a winter school will be presented in George and academic staff members in the School of Accounting are confident that they will build on last year’s success.
With generous support from Investec, international specialist banking and asset management group, the weeklong winter school will cost learners a mere R60.
The winter school will consist of a series of daily presentations, tutorials and assignments; as well as life orientation sessions on the career path to become a chartered accountant and university access.
Learners will be given notes, exercises and suggested solutions each day on the topics covered, as well as Grade 12 examination past papers.
