Change the world

02/09/2013

On Saturday 7 September the George Town Hall will be “filled with the sound of music” when choirs from the region gather there for a spring concert hosted by the NMMU George Campus Choir, supported by their patron, the university’s George Campus Principal, Prof Quinton Johnson.

More than ten choirs, including the South Cape College Choir, gospel choirs, a number of community and school choirs, such as the Imizamo Yethu High School Choir will utilise this platform to entertain the public with their exceptional musical talents.

Eden FM Station Manager, Morne Pietersen, will be the master of ceremonies for the event, which has been scheduled between 17:30 and 20:30 on Saturday, 7 September 2013.

The admission fee for the concert is R30 per adult and R15 per scholar. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the Cashiers at the NMMU George Campus Administrative Building, or in the foyer of the Civic Centre prior to the start of the concert.
