Prospective students who are considering applying for admission to a qualification at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University for the 2014 academic year need to note that the first closing date of 1 August 2013 is fast approaching.

A series of regional information evenings have been scheduled in die Southern Cape from 16 – 22 July to assist interested persons with information on study and career opportunities, admission requirements, application procedures, financial aid, accommodation, sport and other services available at NMMU. A panel of senior professional staff and academics from NMMU’s George Campus will be available to provide guidance and to respond to questions that attendees may still have about studying at NMMU.

The information evenings commence at 18:00 (6pm), in the following towns:

  • George: 16 July, Lecture Theatre 0011, NMMU George Campus
  • Oudtshoorn: 17 July, Main Hall, South-Cape College
  • Knysna: 18 July, School Hall, Knysna Secondary School
  • Mossel Bay: 22 July, Sport Club-house, Point High School

Application forms for the 2014 academic year are available at the university’s campuses in Port Elizabeth and George, and also on the NMMU website at www.nmmu.ac.za/application
