Campus Head, Dr Kaluke Mawila engages with local student leaders.

In the spirit of collaboration and campus engagement, the Campus Principal Dr Kaluke Mawila hosted a successful meeting with the 2024 Local Student Representative Council (LSRC). The purpose of this meeting was multifaceted. Through this meeting, the Campus Management extended a heartfelt welcome to the newly inducted 2024 LSRC, establishing and setting a positive tone for a collaborative academic year. This engagement is a continuation of the yearly tradition of acquainting the LSRC with George Campus Management team and their functional portfolios.

The Campus Management team as led by the Campus Principal exchanged ideas with the LSRC on possible collaborative projects. Dr Mawila shared insights into the George Campus Strategy development process that is underway. An invitation was extended by the campus management to the LSRC to participate and co-create the future George Campus Strategy. The George Campus management encouraged the LSRC to collaborate and communicate feedback on the mandate articulated by their constituency. Dr Mawila acknowledged the camaraderie and positive impact that collaboration between the Campus Management and LSRC have enjoyed in previous years. As a collective, we look forward to a productive and collaborative 2024 academic year. We also extend a warm welcome to our 2024 first-time entering students. We wish all our students a successful academic year.
