The staff lounge at NMMU George Campus was abuzz with conversation as more than 140 guests gathered at the Campus for the August networking evening of the George Business Chamber hosted by the university.

NMMU staff, as well as senior student representatives of the business-related programmes offered at NMMU George Campus ensured thorough exposure to the NMMU study offerings and brand.

After being introduced by the Campus Principal, Prof Quinton Johnson, Prof Niekie Dorfling, NMMU Executive Dean: Business and Economic Sciences gave attendees an overview of the Business and Economic Sciences Faculty, also explaining the inter-related nature of the faculty’s work, both at the Port Elizabeth Campuses and other sites of delivery, such as the George Campus.  During the ensuing networking proceeding, Dr Cilliers, the President of the George Business Chamber, highlighted the exciting programme of the upcoming AHI Congress which the Chamber will be co-hosting in George from 6 - 9 October.

They joined George Business Chamber President, Dr Willie Cilliers, and NMMU’s Executive Dean of Business and Economic Sciences, Prof Niekie Dorfling, for a photograph on the staff deck at sunset.
